Overview
With a new engine and Lara model this is one of the greatest Tomb Raider games ever. With a plot taking place in Egypt it was a true Tomb Raider experience.
Improvements
Not many new thinkgs were added to Tomb Raider the Last Revelation but Lara could now swing from ropes. The 'Ring' style inventory was discarded in favor of a line sort of Inventory. Lara could now combine puzzle pieces and attach laser sights to her Crossbow and Revolver.
Gameplay
The gameplay style has remained the same throught the Tomb Raider series but the animations of Lara have become smoother since it's first outing. Lara has retained all of her past moves and while no new ones have been added everything is done in a smooth manner.

Story
Lara is on a quest for the Amulet of Horus, buried deep in an Egyptian tomb. After acquiring the artifact Lara is betrayed by her desert guide, who was hired by her former mentor, now nemesis Werner Von Croy. As it turns out Lara has released the Egyptian god Set, and must retain him back into his resting place...
Characters
Lara Croft-Lara is once again the star of the show in TR4
Werner Von Croy-Lara's former mentor who is now after the same artifact as Lara and will stop at nothing to get it first.
Set-Ancient god terrorizing the world once again. Lara must stop him at whatever cost.
Weapons
Lara again starts with her dual pistols yet the shotgun can be found just inches in front of Lara in the game. Lara will also use the Uzis, Revolver, Crossbow, and Grenade gun. Now Lara will find different ammo types for the Shotgun, Crossbow, and Grenade Gun. Also a lasersight can be added to the Crossbow or Revolver for extra scope.
Secrets
The Secrets in Tomb Raider the Last Revelation are just for fun. There are 70 in all and there is no reward for finding all of them. They will consist of Ammo, Guns, or Medipacks.
Vehicles
Lara will drive a Jeep in the Valley of the Kings and KV5 and will drive a motorcycle in the City of the Dead.
